Panama has become a great place to watch whales while they spend part of the year eating, resting and mating on the country’s warm Pacific Coast waters.

Their high season is from June through October, and these humpbacks can be seen in groups or with their younglings surveying the surface, splashing, jumping and singing (you have to be underwater to hear this).

Whale watching is something that you can’t miss if you visit us during the season. Dolphins are also around, and those gigantic, spotted whale sharks can also be seen during January, February and March around Coiba Island.
